Samael

Swiss legends Samael were formed in 1987 and are considered part of the first wave of black metal. During that era, they released classics such as "Worship Him" (1991) and "Blood Ritual" (1992). With "Ceremony of Opposites" (1994) Samael developed their sound further, with the album including their best-known track "Baphomet’s Throne." The band later moved in a more industrial direction on subsequent releases.
